Your budget is respected at Jazz Interior Design. When you begin a design project, you should already have an idea of what your budget is for that project. Jazz Interior Design takes your budget and your needs to form a space plan that will give you the “biggest bang for your buck”. Jazz Interior Design works with all ranges of budgets. Some clients need an entire home or office done at once, but most people do things in stages. Maybe it’s one room t a time, or maybe you are in immediate need of window treatments. Everyone’s needs are different, and Jazz Interior Design is prepared to work with whatever your needs may be. Money is always saved by doing something right the first time. Many people try to save money by going a route based on budget or a do-it-yourself mentality. Often these decisions end up being duplicated due to lack of information. Duplication is expensive! More often than not, a retail store has knowledge of only the product they want to sell you. A designer can offer you knowledge of all the options available, and how they compare with respect to your needs. The philosophy of Jazz Interior Design is that having a plan, should pay for itself saving time, money, and inconvenience, by doing things once.
The Process: Don’t hesitate. It never hurts to ask questions. Call Jacqueline and see if your project is something Jazz Interior Design is suited for. If you decide you would like to investigate further, your first consultation is free of obligation. In your home your project needs and budget are discussed in detail, and the decision of project commitment is made. If you decide to commit to working with Jazz Interior Design, a 10% retainer is expected to complete space plans, preliminary sketches, and the product selection process. Each item or service to be included in your plan, is selected by you with full disclosure of pricing and time needed for completion. When you have selected every item to be included on your invoice, and the project is ready to begin, a 50% deposit is expected to begin the project. At the point that the project is completed to your satisfaction, the remaining 40% is collected. Retainers are not expected for returning clients.
What you spend on your project is 100% your choice.
There will be absolutely no surprises.
